Women First™ Enterprise
The Angel Resource Institute's Women First™ Enterprise (WFE,) led by ARI Instructor Susan Preston, strives to be the 'go to' place for training and education for women entrepreneurs, offering them greater access to mentors and platforms from which to raise money. WFE encourages women entrepreneurs' participation in high-growth businesses and start-ups.
WFE is developing programs that address the unique challenges female entrepreneurs, and specifically female minorities (African-American, Hispanic), face. The Women First Enterprise program engages women in intense coursework taught by an elite core of instructors.
MISSION: To attain a gender neutral position for women entrepreneurs and investors.
VISION: ARI's Women First Enterprise equips women and minorities with the tools and business savvy needed to navigate the competitive early-stage market. Our goal is to diversify the face of entrepreneurship by encouraging women and minorities to participate in high-growth ventures.
The Angel Resource Institute has delivered over 400 courses throughout the United States and in almost twenty (20) other countries. ARI believes that education is fundamental to securing a successful early-stage investment. Understanding the fundamentals of how to execute early-stage investment deals, from the perspectives of entrepreneurs and investors, is the key to increasing investment returns, growing successful companies and creating jobs. Our team of experienced instructors have built and sold companies, invested in multiple startups, participate on boards, and each has successfully launched angel funds.
